First time home buyers in Broomfield

Posted by theskinnyonrealestate - May 24th, 2007

The City and County of Broomfield is participating in the Metro Mortgage Assistance Program which helps first time homebuyers, who would like to purchase a home in Broomfield, to qualify for a below-market interst rate mortgage and help with a down payment.

The mortgage interest rate is 5.95% for a 30-year fixed mortgage and you may also qualify for a 4% grant for the down payment and closing costs.

You have to be a first time home-buyer which means you can’t have owned a home in the last 3 years.

Your gross annual income can’t exceed $71,700 for a 1 or 2 person household (or $82,455 for 3 or more people in your household).

The property can’t cost more than $365,175.

You must occupy the property - you can’t rent it out.

You must also be able to qualify for the mortgage.

If you would like to find a home in Broomfield and see if you qualify for this program please don’t hesitate to give me a call, email me or chat with me live online. I’m happy to help! No house is too small, no request is too big.
