Hershey announces candy price increases
Wow. Just when you thought things really couldn’t get any worse, both Hershey and Mars are increasing their candy prices! Boooooo!!
Expect a 13% increase on Hershey candy bars and a 5% increase on Mars candy bars.
Apparently the cost of dairy, peanuts, cocoa and energy have increased production costs.
As much as I love chocolate I think I may have to eat more black licorice. (After all, Easter will be here in 6 weeks - that means licorice jelly beans doncha know.)
