Breaking news on increased home loan limits in Broomfield

Breaking news on the Broomfield real estate market, buying a home in Broomfield, and real estate issues in the Denver-Metro area, every day, on The Skinny on Real Estate.

The National Association of Realtors is estimating that the FHA loan limits in Broomfield County will increase from $308,370 to $405,750.

FHA only requires a 3% down payment, offers excellent rates, allows anyone to help you with that down payment, allows for a co-signer who does NOT live in the property, AND IS NOT BASED ON YOUR CREDIT SCORE.

Even if you have had a bankruptcy or foreclosure within the last 2-3 years, if you are currently paying your bills, and have the income to afford the home you would like to buy, you may be able to qualify for an FHA loan.

Unfortunately, the limit on jumbo loans still sits at $417,000 for now.
