Wow. Are these beer lovers serious or what? A pub landlord in Edinburgh Scotland was fired up when Britain’s treasury chief raised taxes on beer, wine and spirits, so he half jokingly posted a picture of the treasury chief with the word “banned” above it. Except now beer lovers all over the Internet have become involved (of course) and numerous other pubs have joined in the protest.
That’s awesome.
I’m just waiting for liquor stores to open on Sundays here in Colorado. Just in time for the Independence Day celebrations (kind of fitting if you ask me) if the Guv would just sign the bill allowing it already.
