First time home buyer tip #2

Always view a home with resale potential in mind. Sure it looks good now, and the price seems right, but 5 or 10 years from now when you decide you want to sell your home and move up, you need to keep in mind that not everyone finds living across the street from 7-11 a good thing. You need to balance your wants and needs with the potential for the house to gain in value. You may not be thinking about that now but you’ll thank me when you go to resell the house.
