Check out any neighborhood that you’re considering very carefully. Visit the neighborhood at various times of the day to see what foot and car traffic is like. Check out neighborhood schools and visit the nearest police station to inquire about crime rates. Search the local newspaper websites for important issues as well as the city council reports to find out if they’re planning to make any radical changes in that neighborhood.
