
If you meet certain income guidelines you may be able to qualify for assistance with meeting your home’s energy costs through energy audits, carbon monoxide problem detection, additional insulation, sealing leaks, a new refrigerator, or further energy conservation information and education.

There was an article in the Denver Post detailing how federal taxpayer dollars are being used to bolster these programs that are typically handled by the county.
The Longs Peak Energy Conservation Team sends out professionals to go over your home (can rent or own) to determine what the best course of action for your dwelling would be. This particular program is available to Boulder, Broomfield, Larimer, and Gilpin country residents who meet specific income guidelines which you can locate here.
