Super Bowl Parties and Activities in Denver 2012

I admit, I’ve never been a football person. Hell, I don’t even care about the commercials. My dad, God rest his soul, was a football freak. I figure he has the best seats in the house for every sporting event in the world now. But I got tons of traffic last year for my “Super Bowl Parties in Denver” post so I decided to do it again this year. If you happen to have a Super Bowl event you would like me to add here shoot me an email and I’d be happy to do so!

I’m listing this activity first because it supports a cause near and dear to my heart: childhood cancer research. The Fainting Goat’s Super Bowl Charity Bash 2012 will be held at the Fainting Goat (duh!) at 9th and Broadway. Money goes to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital where children from around the world are treated and never have to pay for treatment. They’re looking to raise $1,000 from their party. The party runs from 3 – 10 p.m.

Super Bowl 5K – part of the RunDenver series it’s held in Wash Park and starts at 9:50 a.m.

Girls Night Out on Super Bowl Sunday at the JCC – $15 for a spa night at the JCC on 350 S Dahlia St. They’ll be airing the greatest Super Bowl commercials of all time as well.

Highland Tap & Burger at 2219 W 32nd Ave will be opening their doors at 10 a.m. and featuring drink specials all day including $3 IPA and White Rascal pints (yeah!), $3 HTB House Ale pints, and $3 Bud Light pints (don’t they just give those things away?) plus party packs, coupons, and swag. Remember that kick off time is 4:25.

Casselman’s Bar & Venue at 26th and Walnut is hosting “A Game of Giving Fundraiser” Super Bowl Party for $25 which includes food buffet, Bud Light draft beer and jello shots and a ticket for the prize drawings. They’ll also have drink specials all night from Breckenridge Distillery. The fundraiser is benefiting 5 different organizations (which is awfully swell of them) which you can see if you click on the link above.

The Soiled Dove Underground is having the Ultimate Super Bowl Party – doors open at 3:30 and for $35 you get all you can eat wings, pizza, chili and more, all you can drink Bud (why is everyone drinking so much Bud?), contests and prizes, and 3 giant projection screens.

Spill Lounge at 1410 Market St is hosting their 10th Annual Super Bowl Party for $35 from 1-9 p.m. drinks and buffet included. Then there’s something about a Miss Spill contest after the game and all entrants drink free. Somehow I think this could be dangerous.

If you are an outdoorsy geek the Up The Creek Ski and Rec Club’s Annual Super Bowl party might just be right up your creek (snort!). It’s being held at the Terrace Gardens Event and Conference Center the Dove Valley Facility for $22 a piece. Doors open at 3:30 and they’re expecting a big crowd so get there early! All you can drink mixed drinks, beer, wine, soda and water. Plus gobs of appetizers.

If you are single and looking to be un-single I suppose then head over to Sam Taylor’s BBQ at 435 S Cherry St in Denver for the Denver Metro Social Singles Super Bowl party for only $1 per person. Apparently Kelly Clarkson will be singing the national anthem which I didn’t even realize. There will be drink specials and the average meals costs around $10.

Jammin 101.5 is presenting The Retro Super Bowl party at Lodo’s in Westminster. Old school prizes, drink specials and of course the Super Bowl.

As a Denver area real estate agent I'm intensely devoted to my home buyers and sellers; fighting for you every step of the way for the VERY best results. I'm definitely not your "typical" salesperson. I probably won't remember to ask about your kids' ages or how long you've lived in Colorado. I don't engage in small talk just so you'll think I'm nifty and hire me. What I ALWAYS remember however, is who I am working for - and that's YOU. I'm on YOUR side; I take my responsibilities as your agent very seriously and will work my brains out for you. So if you're looking for the kind of real estate agent who always remembers to say "good morning" or asks about the little ones soccer game then you should move along - I'm too cranky for you. But if you're looking for the kind of real estate agent who will fight like crazy to help you, then you've come to the right place. And when I'm not helping clients I'm usually walking dogs at the shelter, training at the gym, or watching Star Trek re-runs on Netflix.
