I wouldn’t mind having chickens around – I think it would be kind of fun.
Note that if your neighborhood’s HOA bans chickens it doesn’t matter if the city ordinance allows them you still can’t have them.
As a real estate agent, I imagine in certain cases if your neighbor has chickens it could make it tougher to sell your house. Of course in others it might make a house more attractive if they knew they could have chickens of their own, or if they could get free eggs from the neighbor on a regular basis…
Please note that any chicken killings must be conducted inside not outside in the backyard. (Argh!)
