Fireworks along the 16th St Mall in Downtown Denver will be set off at 9 p.m. and midnight. There will also be costumed entertainers who will interact with crowds between shows, including magicians, mascots, balloon artists, stilt walkers, comedians and more.
The Denver Children’s Museum will celebrate the new year with Noon Year’s Eve events all day. There will be ball drops and countdowns each hour, rainbow confetti, bubble wrap fireworks, art projects, music, performances and StoryTimes.
Broomfield library will host a party at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. with a countdown at the end of the hour. It includes Poppy’s Comedy Magic Show with Paul Borrillo where he’ll have juggling, plate spinning, magic and audience participation. Young and old enjoy the party!
WOW Children’s Museum in Lafayette will have a New Year’s Eve Party Morning starting at 10 a.m. Includes face painting, music and snacks.
Try out the Children’s Party at the Plaza Hotel in Longmont. It starts at 7:30 and while the adults get to enjoy their own party, the kids have their celebration as well.
Take the family out for pizza and enjoy tapping new beer at Parry’s Pizzeria and Bar in Northglenn.
Fit Soldiers in Northglenn is having a Kids New Year’s Eve Free For All for ages 6-9 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. free of charge.
Boondock’s New Year’s Eve party in Northglenn starting at 6 p.m. – unlimited pizza buffet, laser tag, bowling, mini golf, go-karts, arcade, etc.
Would your kids love to spend the night at the Denver Zoo? They’ll get to see the Zoo Lights and learn about animals. It includes pizza, a snack and breakfast.
The Downtown Aquarium has Sharkey’s New Year’s Eve for Kids which includes buffet at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. There will be a beach ball and balloon drop, cider toast, contests, giveaways, animal interaction, and more!
Tour the Morrison Natural History Museum 10:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m., and 2:15 p.m.
The Best of Foxy and Shmoxy: Art Detectives will be at the Denver Art Museum – they are witty and hilarious and solve art mysteries. Performances at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. There’s also Winter Break: A Place Of My Own from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Are you a fan of the Amazing Race? Play your own game right here in Denver with the whole family. It’s called Urban Adventure Quest. It starts at the Capitol Building and ends at the Brown Palace Hotel and includes 17 different challenges.
Denver Botanic Gardens Blossoms of Light starts at 5:30 p.m. and includes warm drinks and tasty treats.
Spend 3 hours touring the Denver Holiday Lights which starts at the Union Station and includes the Botanic Gardens from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Hudson Gardens & Event Center in Littleton will have a festive holiday light show from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on a 1-mile walk through the gardens.
New Year’s Eve Kids Night Out at Color Me Mine in Boulder starts at 5 p.m. and includes pizza and a resolution piggy bank.
