The Village at Harmony Park Lifestyle
History: Homes were built in the early 2000’s.
Housing: Village at Harmony Park is an extremely popular Westminster neighborhood where homes start at around 1,800 square feet and go as big as nearly 5,000 square feet. Many of the yards are a very manageable size – big enough for your summer bbq gatherings and a dog but not so unwieldy that you spend every weekend doing nothing but yardwork. Homes include 2 and 3 car attached garages – some in front and some in back in the alleyway. HOA is approximately $75 per month which includes the community pool, clubhouse and trash removal.
Family Fitness: Village at Harmony Park sits across the street from Big Dry Creek Park where there is an off leash dog park, ball fields, the Big Dry Creek extensive walking trail, playgrounds, picnic pavilions, roller hockey rink, and so on. Residents also enjoy the community pool in the summer. At Midway Blvd and Zuni St is the Elements Jiu Jitsu school. A short drive north of the neighborhood is the McKay Lake nature preserve where many go to walk and run in a serene setting. Directly across from the neighborhood is the Alex and Josh Pond which is always a nice place to walk and enjoy neighborhood. As always, Westminster residents get to use any of the Westminster Rec Centers at a discounted rate.
According to a recent survey by qazzoo.com a whopping 42% of home buyers complained about a “lack of timely follow up by the real estate agent.” I can promise you, that will NEVER happen with me! I return phone calls and emails 7 days a week.
Restaurants and Shopping: Just north of the Village at Harmony Park neighborhood is the largest King Soopers in existence. There’s also a number of restaurants in this newer shopping center including Kira Sushi, Corona’s Mexican Restaurant, Saigon Asian Restaurant, Abbot’s Custard, Papa Murphy’s and several more. A few blocks south of the neighborhood is a Safeway, and across the street from that is the 3 Chicks Kitchen and Sonic Drive In.
