I am 100% dedicated to helping you find the home you were meant for! Find out how!
In the Mile High Mama’s newsletter today, they point out that the 2014 Colorado School Grade Rankings have been released (mid-December actually). You can search by school, district, address, zip code or city. Schools are given letter grades overall and by subject. They also include the demographics of the student population. The website points out that instead of ranking the school based solely on academic achievement or test scores, etc. they combine a variety of numbers that they feel gives a better overall picture of a school. (I looked up my high school and I decline to tell you what that score is. Might explain a lot though… LOL!)
The website School Digger not only includes school rankings but will also tell you how many students are enrolled in the school, teacher/student ratio, number of full time teachers, percentage of students on free/reduced lunch, etc.
You may also want to check out greatschools.org where they give schools a numerical ranking (out of 10), plus a community rating and reviews.
Don’t forget the Colorado Dept of Education website where you’ll find all sorts of information and data. You can find test score results (you can download them on an Excel file), information about funding, new and pending legislation, home schooling laws and so on.
I find the the whole process of buying and selling homes absolutely fascinating and I truly love to help people buy and sell them. If you’re interested in knowing more about the process please click here to contact me or you can click here if you’d like to know more about me first!
“I really appreciate the great job you did finding me the perfect house. To this day, I’m still in awe of how perfect this house is for me. You did a great job working with me while I was living in Pueblo. As fast as houses were selling, I didn’t know how I would get to Denver in time to make an offer before someone else beat me. I’m so very thankful for that.” Pat Ransome
“I still LOVE my place. I giggle whenever Cam & I return from a walk through the front door. I remember walking in with you and just knowing it was home.” Jennifer Lacerda
