COUNTRY ESTATES QUICK FACTS:Boulder Valley RE-2 School District (Aspen Creek K-8, Broomfield High) / Built in 1990-2000’s+ / No HOA / Highest sold price 2017: $1,291,300
History: Built in the 1990’s to 2000’s and still building in some areas. Country Estates has a somewhat unique history in Broomfield in the sense that they started building the neighborhood almost 20 years ago and are still building new homes in parts of it. Plus there’s no HOA which is unusual for a neighborhood in this price range. (But residents are still bound by the City & County of Broomfield code.)
Housing: There are a variety of types of upscale homes throughout Country Estates both in the year they were built, the size and type, and price range. For instance, the Villas at Country Estates are newer patio homes (mainly ranch) built in a gated area. There are also custom built homes that are made with luxury in mind. Many of the homes back to open space and include incredible mountain views. 2014 sold prices range from $330,000 – $742,500.
Family Fitness: Country Estates is ideally situated near both the Broadlands and Aspen Creek neighborhoods which have miles of serene walking trails throughout the neighborhood. It’s also very close to the Outlook neighborhood which enjoys the vast Boulder County Open Space to the north. Of course any Broomfield resident can enjoy the Paul Derda Rec Center for special resident prices. There is a new Koko Fit Club at 136th Ave & Zuni St which is just up the road a bit along with a United Studios of Self Defense.
According to a recent survey by qazzoo.com a whopping 42% of home buyers complained about a “lack of timely follow up by the real estate agent.” I can promise you, that will NEVER happen with me! I return phone calls and emails 7 days a week.
Restaurants and Shopping:If you travel east on 136th Ave on the south side of Country Estates you’ll find the largest King Soopers in existence. There are also a number of restaurants there including Kira Sushi, Papa Murphys, Corona’s Mexican Grill, Rosati’s Pizza, Saigon Dragon Asian Cuisine, Taco Bell and so on. Then a little further east is I-25 and 136th Ave with a Lowes and Walmart. Then north of that at I-25 and 144th Ave is the huge Orchard Town Center mall.
