I paid a visit to Chico’s at 129th & Lowell Blvd on a cold, wet, snowy Saturday evening in January and it was totally worth it! I ordered a burrito with chili and a tostado and I only wish I had ordered more because it was SO good!
You’ll need to bring cash, because they don’t take credit cards. I’d plan on take out too – there’s only a couple of small tables in there. You can play Ms Pac Man or pinball if you want while you’re waiting for your food.
The menu includes the usual Mexican fare with burritos, tostados, tacos, enchiladas, green chili, etc.
I can see why they get good reviews – here’s what diners on yelp have to say about it. If you live in Westlake Village or Westlake Townhomes it would be a short walk over there. Redleaf, Crofton Park, Columbine Meadows, etc. would be a longer walk but a really short drive (and since you’ll probably just want to take it home anyway…).
If you’re looking for fancy, don’t bother. But if you’re just looking for some tasty, inexpensive Mexican food in Broomfield I highly recommend it. It’s a little hole in the wall in Broomfield that you’ll definitely want to visit!
